Yes. You can track your package status directly within the Yonnimaaa app. Package statuses are updated throughout the delivery journey and may include:
– Request Sent
– Request Accepted
– Pickup Information Added
– At Airport
– In Transit
– Arrived
– Delivered
You will also receive push notifications whenever there is a status update, helping you stay informed about your package’s progress in real time.
Yes. Travelers must complete the required verification process before they can publish trips on Yonnimaaa. This verification helps maintain trust and security within the platform by ensuring that travelers are authenticated before accepting package delivery requests. Once verification is approved, travelers can create and publish trips for senders to view and request delivery services.
Yonnimaaa supports two payment methods within the app:
Credit/Debit Card Payments
Paystack Payments
Users can choose their preferred payment method during the checkout process. Payments are securely processed through the selected payment provider, and transaction details are recorded within the platform. Once a payment is successfully completed, the order status is updated to Paid, enabling access to features such as invoice generation and package processing.

A sender creates a package request and submits delivery details.
Travelers publish their trips and browse available package requests that match their route.
The sender and traveler connect and agree on the delivery details.
Once the request is approved, the package is associated with the traveler’s trip.
The traveler collects the package and updates trip and delivery statuses throughout the journey.
Senders can track package progress through status updates and push notifications.
Upon arrival, the traveler adds pickup information, verifies the package using the QR code, uploads proof of delivery, and marks the package as delivered.
Once delivery is completed, the sender can access and download the invoice for the completed order.
Not necessarily. Delivery arrangements are agreed upon between the sender and the traveler. Depending on the circumstances, packages may be handed over at a mutually agreed pickup or meeting location rather than delivered directly to a recipient’s door. Travelers and senders can coordinate delivery details through the app to determine the most convenient and suitable handover method.
